In the distant future, for “the honorable title of the greatest velocity in space”, the universe’s fastest auto racing festival called “REDLINE” was being held on Roboworld, the most dangerous militarized planet. There was a man trying to snatch victory only by using his driving skills and his super accelerator with his beloved customized classic car ‘Trans-Am 20000’. In the race, they are allowed to equip with even weapon to win. His name is JP. Betrayal, love and friendship…Battles among racers accelerate!!! .
This is the directorial debut of full-length feature by Takeshi Koike. Famous for his strong personality, he also directed the opening animation of live-action film “PARTY7” and “THE ANIMATRIX/WORLD・RECORD”. The film invested tremendous time of seven years in production and put great effort for quality to use 100,000 hand-made drawings.
Katsuhito Ishii wrote the original story, script and served as sound director. He worked with Takeshi Koike for “PARTY7”, “TRAVA Fist★Planet” and “The Taste Of Tea”. It should be noted that it stars such major actors as Takuya Kimura, Yū Aoi and Tadanobu Asano.
